Where Finance Meets Innovation
Some leaders are remembered for the deals they strike. Others are remembered for the bridges they build. The founder of Duotem Capital and Fintica AI has done both, connecting capital across continents while pioneering autonomous, explainable AI for financial markets.
From his early career in the complex plumbing of global markets to his current role shaping the future of cross-border finance, his story is one of clarity, adaptability, and connection. In this exclusive interview, he shares how disruption shaped his career, where private equity and asset management are heading, and why trust, like capital, compounds over time.
Building Bridges Between Capital and Technology
What led you to start Duotem Capital and later Fintica AI?
“My career has always centered around the intersection of innovative technology and financial markets, especially in markets and tech hubs that often speak different languages.
Duotem Capital grew out of the vision to connect investor capital from Asia and the Middle East with disruptive Israeli innovation. Fintica AI emerged when that same vision evolved into a deep-tech solution, creating AI tools to transform capital markets globally.”
Leading With Clarity and Empathy
You wear many hats – CEO, board member, advisor. How do you manage to juggle these different roles without losing focus?
“Wearing multiple hats is certainly a challenge. As CEO, my focus is on execution and leading the team day to day. As a board member, I step back, take a wider view, and focus on governance and long-term direction. As an advisor, I am there to listen, share experience, and guide without being in the driver’s seat.
What makes it manageable is aligning with my core mission, connecting capital, technology, and innovation, and surrounding myself with strong teams.”
Defining Leadership in a Fast-Changing World
In your view, what makes a great leader in today’s fast-changing financial world?
“Clarity, adaptability, and empathy. The leaders who thrive are the ones who combine strategic vision with human understanding, and who can inspire confidence while steering through uncertainty.”
Lessons From Turning Points
Looking back, is there a challenge or turning point in your career that really shaped how you approach your work now?
“Yes. One of the biggest turning points was realizing that disruption is not something to resist, but something to embrace.
Earlier in my career, I worked in very traditional financial environments. But when I began building bridges between Asian capital and Israeli innovation, I quickly saw that the real growth opportunities come when you lean into change rather than try to control it.”
The Road Ahead for Duotem Capital and Fintica AI
What’s on your agenda for Duotem Capital and Fintica AI in the next few years?
“For Fintica AI, the focus is on enhancing our autonomous AI capabilities for financial markets, improving real-time surveillance, predictive analytics, and risk management tools. We are also exploring strategic partnerships across new regions to bring these solutions to more markets.”
A Shifting Landscape in Private Equity
How do you think private equity and asset management will change in the coming decade?
“Technology and AI will transform how we source deals, assess risk, and monitor portfolio performance. Investors are increasingly prioritizing ESG and sustainable impact, so strategies must integrate long-term value with social and environmental responsibility. The industry will also become more global and interconnected, with emerging markets playing a bigger role.”
Advice to the Next Generation
If you could go back and give your younger self one piece of advice at the start of your career, what would it be?
“I would tell my younger self to take smart risks sooner and embrace opportunities outside my comfort zone. That is where the biggest growth happens. And never underestimate the power of relationships. The right connections can shape your career as much as any technical skill.”
A Legacy of Connection
When you look back on your career, what do you hope your legacy will be?
“When I look back on my career, I hope the legacy I leave is one of connection, innovation, and positive impact. I want to be remembered for bridging capital with disruptive technology, creating platforms and partnerships that opened opportunities for investors, entrepreneurs, and communities alike.”
Trust Compounds Like Capital
This interview reveals more than professional milestones. It uncovers a philosophy that blends technology, finance, and human connection. From cross-border finance to autonomous AI in markets, his vision is rooted in clarity, adaptability, and empathy.
The future of capital markets may be shaped by algorithms, predictive analytics, and ESG-driven strategies, but at its core it will still depend on leadership that inspires trust.
As he reminds us, trust, like capital, compounds over time.

“Markets don’t need another black box, they need clarity. At Duotem Capital and Fintica AI, that’s exactly what we are building.”
